Welcome to Banyan Gold Corp.

Banyan Gold Corp. is focused on advancing and de-risking its 7.0 million ounce (Table 1 below) AurMac Gold Project (the “AurMac Project”) in the Yukon, Canada’s newest and rapidly growing mining district.

The AurMac Project hosts structurally controlled, intrusion related gold mineralization.  It is located in the Mayo Mining District of central Yukon, approximately 40 km north of the community of Mayo, Yukon, approximately 25 km to Victoria Gold Corp’s open-pit heap leach Eagle Gold mine and adjacent to the Keno Hill Silver District operated by Hecla Mining Company (previously Alexco Resource Corp.).  The AurMac Project consists of 988 claims totaling approximately 173 km2 and contains three (3) Deposits: the Airstrip, Powerline and the Aurex Hill Zones.  It benefits from exceptional infrastructure with the main Yukon highway just off the main access road, a 3-phase powerline, existing Yukon Energy Corp. switching power station and cell phone coverage.

On February 7, 2024, a new Mineral Resource Estimate (“MRE” or “Mineral Resource”) was issued in accordance with National Instrument 43-101, Standards for Disclosure for Mineral Projects (“NI 43-101”) for the AurMac Property comprised of a total inferred mineral resource of 7,003,000 ounces of gold at 0.63 g/t Au on the road accessible AurMac Property (refer to News Release of February 7, 2024).  A NI 43-101 Technical Report supporting the Mineral Resource Estimate was filed on SEDAR on March 18, 2024.

Notes to Table 1:

  1. The effective date for the MRE is February 6, 2024.
  2. Mineral Resources which are not Mineral Reserves do not have demonstrated economic viability. The estimate of Mineral Resources may be materially affected by environmental, permitting, legal, title, taxation, sociopolitical, marketing, changes in global gold markets or other relevant issues.
  3. The CIM Definition Standards were followed for classification of Mineral Resources. The quantity and grade of reported Inferred Mineral Resources in this estimation are uncertain in nature ‎and there has been insufficient exploration to define these Inferred Mineral Resources as an ‎Indicated Mineral Resource and it is uncertain if further exploration will result in upgrading them to an ‎Indicated or Measured Mineral Resource category.
  4. Mineral Resources are reported at a cut-off grade of 0.30 g/t gold for all deposits, using a US$/CAN$ exchange rate of 0.75 and constrained within an open pit shell optimized with the Lerchs-Grossman algorithm to constrain the Mineral Resources with the following estimated parameters: gold price of US$1,800/ounce, US$2.50/t mining cost, US$5.50/t processing cost, US$2.00/t G+A, 80% gold recoveries, and 45° pit slopes.
  5. The number of tonnes and ounces was rounded to the nearest thousand. Any discrepancies in the totals are due to rounding effects; rounding followed the recommendations as per NI 43-101.

In addition, Banyan also holds the Hyland Project, located in the Watson Lake Mining District in the southeast Yukon, approximately 74 km northeast from the town of Watson Lake within the traditional territory of the Kaska Dena Nation (Liard First Nation).  The Hyland Project consists of 927 active Yukon registered quartz mineral claims totalling over 18,620 hectares in area that is road accessible from Watson Lake.

The Hyland Project technical report was filed in May 2018 pursuant to National Instrument 43-101 - Standards of Disclosure for Mineral Projects.  The report indicated mineral resource of 8.6 million tonnes grading 0.85 gram per tonne gold equivalent (AuEq) for 236,000 AuEq ounces with an inferred mineral resource of 10.8 million tonnes grading 0.83 g/t AuEq for 288,000 AuEq ounces at a 0.3 g/t AuEq cut-off.  This resource is located in its entirety on what is known as the “Main Zone”, is open in all directions and at depth, and has the potential to host a multi-million ounce deposit.  Please see Hyland Project for further details.
